Fruitful Living Devotional Books

This six-book series comes directly from weekly emails sent to encourage and build a church family. No one was more surprised than the writers, that this log of emails, released over the course of three years, would become devotional books to provide words of wisdom, encouragement and insight for Urban Christian Believers.

Extreme 'LIFE' Makeover (Building Again)

- Chris and Carol Green

New Release

Using the television show Extreme Home Makeover

as a backdrop, Chris and Carol Green share a series

of messages that reveal how GOD is calling you out

of religious structures with weak foundations, so that HE can give you an Extreme Life Makeover.

It's time to vacate what was constructed in human efforts to guard hearts and homes from damage and disappointment. God is calling you out of the ruined house because He’s building something new.

Overcomers, Under Orders (Breaking Through Walls of Doubt and Fear)

 - Chris and Carol Green

Over Comers, Under Orders

When God sends His Word, it is like a hammer smashing against a massive, thick wall. The wall is composed of all the negative conclusions and beliefs we developed from our disappointments and experiences in life.

With every page you will feel your inner barriers crumbling as you embrace the freedom that is truly yours.

This latest devotional and inspirational work by Chris and Carol Green will be a great source of timely encouragement for you and your family.

Fruitful Living in Summer - Chris and Carol Green

It's summer time in your life and your strength and energy get sapped very quickly even though you are excited about what God is doing in this season. It seems like the closer you get to the fulfillment of God's Word, the greater the pressure increases.

As you navigate through your summer season, it is our prayer that the powerful experiences that have been logged within the pages of this book will encourage and inspire you in your spiritual journey.

Fruitful Living in Spring - Chris and Carol Green

Spring means melting snow and the slow process of cold and ice gradually giving way to longer days and gentler breezes. New life is on the way, but you have no idea what the new season is going to bring.

We entered the spring season with many lingering fears and doubts from the past. With the painful memories from our first attempts to start a church still fresh in our thoughts, God was nudging us to pursue His heart in a whole new way. Our pursuit of God’s heart helped us to release the past and embrace the new thing that He was doing.

As you navigate through your own “spring” time, it is our prayer that something written within the pages of this book will encourage and inspire you.

Fruitful Living in Winter - Chris and Carol Green

In the winter, there are many things that you plan to do but you just can’t. This is the season where our desires meet the issues of timing. All you can do is settle down, pack it in, and rest. You just have to wait. If someone were to ask us how to spell winter, we would say W.A.I.T.

Winter is cold, harsh, and indifferent. We’re all going to have winters. This manifestation of this season does not mean you have a lack of faith or commitment. You cannot prevent it or get around it. It’s just a reality of the Believer's life.

Winter is a time of purification. Motives are tested and tried.

Winter teaches us how to encourage our families while we are trying to encourage ourselves. We must learn how to receive and get past pride. We must learn the humility of not having it all together all the time.

Fruitful Living in Autumn - Chris and Carol Green

Leaves were falling, the weather was getting colder, and the hours of sunlight were becoming shorter. There is a lot of beauty in the autumn, but there’s a lot of loss behind that beauty. There’s a lot of change behind that beauty. It was the same way for us spiritually.

These weekly messages were sent to our church family as we faced this personal and corporate autumn season.  As you walk through these experiences, you will receive encouragement for the journey you are on.

Fruitful Living Teaching

Chris and Carol Green

It all began when we received the following email:

I think you should take excerpts from all of these Midweek Connections and publish them in a daily devotional - maybe call it "Fruitful Living" or something of that nature.  There is such rich encouragement and a unique demonstration of the word in them that they should be shared in print as well as on this website.

This will reach that other generation that either, doesn't have a computer, don't trust the internet, or who would rather flip the pages than scroll down.  What I'm saying is that these Midweek Connections really bless me and I know they would bless others too.  And because I love books, I'd like to see you publish another one.

So we moved on that suggestion and began compiling the weekly emails that we had been sending to our church family. Email was our best way of staying connected with everyone since we did not have a midweek church service.

We had no idea our weekly email was evolving into a journal, a log, a devotional, and a set of powerful sermons, messages and prophetic words that would help Believers  understand that they are living and moving through cycles and seasons of life.
